With its separate chassis, simple system of bolt-on components and easy front-end access afforded by the forward hinging bonnet, the Vitesse is a do-it-yourself dream.

Launched in May 1962, the Vitesse was marketed in the USA as the ‘Sports 6'. It was a 6-cylinder car which began life with a 1596cc power unit. Michelotti gave it a distinctive slanting V-shaped front with twin headlamps. Mechanically, it was very akin to the later Triumph GT6. Vitesse landmarks are the 2-litre in 1966 when the engine was uprated to 1998cc, and the Mark II (with Mark II suspension) in 1968. The Vitesse was produced until 1971 - more than 50,000 were built.

Rimmer Bros, established in 1982, is a British company supporting British cars. The Rimmer Bros service is hard to beat: we have the parts, we guarantee the quality, we're keen on price, we deliver fast, we know your car.
