Did you know? In 1975, a modified MG Midget 1500 raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and proved its mettle by finishing a respectable 11th in its class (Group 2) and 19th overall, out of 55 starters and 24 finishers. This sprightly roadster was produced from 1974 up until 1980 when the MG factory in Abingdon closed - the end of an era in British sports car manufacturing. The MG Midget 1500 featured a 1.5 litre four-cylinder engine, meeting stricter safety and emissions standards of the time. Despite the necessary changes, it retained its classic British roadster appearance and open-top design.
Rimmer Bros, established in 1982, is a British company supporting British cars. The Rimmer Bros service is hard to beat: we have the parts, we guarantee the quality, we're keen on price, we deliver fast, we know your car.
