The MGB, MGB GT, and MGB GT V8 are iconic British sports cars with a rich history. The MGB was in production for 18 years and was celebrated for its widespread popularity and simple, robust design. It was one of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver and passenger in a 30 mph (48 km/h) impact. While it was once among the most numerous sports cars globally, it should be noted that its production ended in 1980 - well before the introduction of the Mazda MX5 in 1989.

Remarkably, a significant number of MGBs continue to exist today which is testament to their enduring appeal among enthusiasts. The MGB GT, introduced in 1965, featured an elegant fastback design and a practical tailgate, making it a preferred choice in various markets. The 4 Synchro Mk II brought improvements like automatic transmission and full synchromesh, enhancing the driving experience.

In 1973, the MGB GT V8 made an entrance, equipped with a potent Rover V8 engine. The later rubber bumper models, initially met with criticism, have gained appreciation for their comfort and practicality, offering a touch of retro charm.

Rimmer Bros, established in 1982, is a British company supporting British cars. The Rimmer Bros service is hard to beat: we have the parts, we guarantee the quality, we're keen on price, we deliver fast, we know your car.
