Trainee Customer Sales Advisor

What should you expect as Trainee Customer Sales Advisor?

You will join a team of experienced sales people and support them with customer order fulfilment via our vast warehouse.
We have a diverse customer base and a huge stock of car parts for classic, modern and off-road vehicles.
We will provide full training for the role which has scope for progression to full salesperson.

What do we expect?

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for cars. You will need to be able to identify car parts from a pick list and maintain a high degree of accuracy with taking pride in your work.
You will be expected to pick and prepare Click & Collect orders for customers in advance of their visit, keeping an orderly counter area in the process.
You will also have opportunity to be customer facing (currently our shop is closed to the public due to Covid-19 rules) and will serve counter customers on a one to one basis, under the supervision of a salesperson.

Skills & Experience – you will need to be:
  • IT literate – we operate a retail and mail order computer system.
  • Able to have an excellent attitude towards customers and customer service and be outwardly positive.
  • Willing to learn and be conscientious and hard working.
This is a permanent position based at our Lincoln office. Normal hours will be 42.5 hours over 5 days per week. Approx. 08:30 – 17:30. After an initial training period, there will be a requirement to work Saturdays on a rota basis as paid overtime.
20 days holiday + statutory bank holidays, staff discount, contributory pension plan

Customer Services Advisor

What should you expect as Customer Services Advisor?

You will join a team of experienced Customer Service reps and support customers ongoing with their enquiries.
We have an international customers base, worldwide logistics and a reputation for service and quality to uphold. We aim to be the best!
We will provide full training for the role and will aid and support you throughout your development.

What do we expect?

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for excellent customer service. You will be required to deal with customer situations in a timely, polite and professional manner and be highly organised with excellent communication skills.
As a representative of the company, you will be responsible for maintaining our reputation for high quality customer care at all times.

Skills & Experience – You need to be:
  • IT literate – we operate a retail mail order computer system with a dedicated ticketing system for customer enquiries. We utilise email, chat and social media platforms.
  • Able to offer a strictly professional point of contact for clients and be able to talk to customers directly over the phone and in person should the need arise (current Covid 19 constraints in place).
  • Offer an excellent attitude towards customers and customer service being outwardly positive with first-rate communication skills.
  • Have a problem solving approach with the ability to identify and rectify issues to the benefit of current and future customers - continuous improvement is our goal.
  • Willing to learn and be hard working.

Sales Advisor

What should you expect as Sales Advisor?

You will join a team of experienced parts sales people and support customers with order selection and technical questions.
We have an international customers base and provide a full parts service for Triumph, Land Rover, MG Rover, MG and Jaguar vehicles. Our sales are supported by a vast stock of parts in our 100,000 sq. ft. of warehousing.

Rimmer Bros accept sales via phone, email, fax and a dedicated e-commerce website. You will be fully supported with researched & printed catalogues, Electronic Parts Catalogues, historical parts manuals, technical publications and a wealth of departmental experience.

We will provide full training for the role and support you throughout your development within the company.
Rimmer Bros offer a safe and friendly working environment with a proven employer record. We value our staff!

What do we expect?

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales person with a passion for cars. You will be required to assist customers with product selection both online and over the telephone, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout is maintained.

Skills & Experience – you will need to be:
  • IT literate – we operate a retail mail-order computer system. We also utilise email, live chat, EPC and web based resources.
  • Knowledgeable about our parts and service and able to assist customers on a live basis.
  • Knowledgeable of vehicles and vehicle parts.
  • An experienced and motivated sales person.
  • Able to offer an excellent attitude towards customers and customer service.
  • Willing to learn and be hard working.
This is a permanent position based at our Lincoln office. Normal hours will be 42.5 hours over 5 days per week. Approx. 08:30 – 17:30. After an initial training period, there will be a requirement to work Saturdays on a rota basis as paid overtime.
