What should you expect as a Car Parts Sales Advisor?

You will join a busy team of experienced Car Parts Sales Advisors and support customers with parts selection and technical questions in person at our shop counter and shows , by phone, email or live chat.

We are part of a large multi-national group, with outlets in the UK, Europe and USA. We have an international customer base supported by our worldwide logistics with a reputation for service and quality to uphold. Our full parts service covers both Classic and Modern vehicles such as Triumph, MG, Rover, Mini, Morris Minor, Austin Healey, Mazda MX5, Land Rover, Range Rover and Jaguar vehicles and is supported by vast stocks in our 100,000 sq.ft. warehouse. We aim to be the best!
Full training will be provided for the role and we will aid and support you throughout your development. You will be fully supported with researched & printed Catalogues, Electronic Parts Catalogues, Historical Parts Manuals, Technical Publications and a wealth of departmental experience.

What do we expect?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Car Parts Sales Advisor with a passion for cars and a proven record for excellent customer service. You will be required to deal with customer inquiries in a timely, polite and professional manner and be highly organised with excellent communication skills. As a representative of the company, you will be responsible for maintaining our reputation for high-quality customer care at all times.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a contact centre enviroment essential.
Able to offer an excellent attitude towards customers and customer service, being outwardly positive with first-rate written and verbal communication skills.
IT literate – we operate a retail mail-order computer system with a dedicated ticketing system for customer enquiries.
Multi-channel communications – Ability to use phone, email, chat and social media platforms as required to communicate with customers.
Have a problem-solving approach with the ability to identify and rectify issues to the benefit of current and future customers - continuous improvement is our goal.
Willingness to learn and be hard working.
Automotive Parts experience required.
Normal hours will be 42.5 hours over 5 days per week. 08:30 – 17:30. Saturdays 8:30 till 13.00 on a rota basis paid as overtime at 2 x hourly rate. Show attendance is voluntary and paid at a generous day rate in addition normal hours.
20 days holiday + statutory bank holidays, staff discount, contributory pension plan, well being-days.

Warehouse Person

Job description

Rimmer Bros are one of the worlds premier suppliers of classic British car parts. From our warehouse in Bracebridge Heath Lincoln, we supply over half a million parts to customers all over the world. To support our increasing sales, we now require an additional Warehouse Person to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will join a warehouse team of approx 30 employees within a busy, mail order, warehouse environment. Ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and providing a professional and efficient Goods-in, Storage, Picking, Packing and Despatch service to customers worldwide focusing on speed and accuracy.

Duties will include;

Picking, Packing and Despatch of our full range of vehicle parts from nuts and bolts to complete chassis.

Skills & Experience;

Must be able to operate with high levels of accuracy. Be able to work on your own initiative and be self motivated. You must be able to demonstrate a methodical yet flexible approach to warehouse work, have attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Some experience in the following areas is required:

Computerised, “wireless” warehouse experience. HHT and barcode picking and put-away techniques.
Automotive or industrial parts picking / packing or distribution involving circa 60,000 stock codes.
Packing automotive parts to export standard. From nuts and bolts, to full cars.
Experience of a commercial despatch environment, despatching hundreds of consignments daily.
Experience of a multi carrier despatch department, and export processes.
Accuracy and attention to detail essential
Car Part knowledge an advantage

This is a permanent position based at our Lincoln warehouse (LN4). Normal hours will be 42.5 hours, Monday-Friday 8:30 – 17:30.
20 days holiday + statutory bank holidays, staff discount, contributory pension plan, well-being days.
