Discovery 2 Suspension
Discovery 2 suspension systems balance on-road comfort with excellent off-road capability through a sophisticated design that handles substantial loads whilst maintaining vehicle control. Quality suspension components ensure reliable performance across demanding terrain and varying load conditions.
Suspension System Design
Independent front suspension uses coil springs and shock absorbers with robust construction for durability. Rear suspension may feature coil springs or optional air suspension that provides self-levelling capability and improved load handling. Chassis components provide mounting points that must remain structurally sound, whilst steering systems integrate with suspension geometry for optimal handling. Air suspension systems offer automatic levelling and variable ride height but require regular maintenance of compressors and control systems. Wheels work with suspension geometry, whilst transmission components affect load distribution.
