Chassis Design and Corrosion Issues
The chassis uses box-section steel construction with mounting points for suspension components, drivetrain, and bodywork systems. Cross-members provide structural rigidity and component mounting. However, the chassis is prone to corrosion, particularly at the rear, where moisture accumulates.
