Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? 69 TR6 Easier to install than to remove the original, which seemed to require the removal of the steering column to get it out. Original could be removed from below if the exhaust was off. Vastly superior cranking speed. Much better than all the time I have had the vehicle where cranking always sounded somewhat laboured. No specific TR6 installation instructions. This unit can be oriented in two ways. Had to phone up to enquire which one was correct. The permanently installed bolt has a long unthreaded section and required an additional bush to enable the retaining nut to be tightened. This was not supplied, although they offered to send me one.
