Short Engine Rebuild Kit - RG1021RRECESSEDBK
Suitable for Mk3 engines with dome top pistons & recessed type cylinder bores.

This kit contains everything you need to recondition your short engine. We assume you will have the block re-bored and any other machining done as required.

IMPORTANT-Pistons are supplied +0.20” oversize. Bearing sets are supplied in standard size. Please advise specific sizes required at time of ordering.

Kit Contains:
Dome top piston set +0.020" oversize (Inc rings/pins) State size required
Main & big end bearing shells (State size required)
Thrust washers (State size required)
Tappets
Timing chain
Timing chain tensioner
Oil pump
Oil pressure relief valve
Oil pressure relief valve spring
Oil pressure switch
Head gasket set (recessed bore type head gasket)
Sump gasket set (Inc oil seals)
Oil filter

Camshaft sprocket
Con rods or small end bearings
