Sump Guard Plate - RD1282BPD3 - Aftermarket
Aftermarket Sump Guard Plate for Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4.

RD1282BPD3 shown with RD1283BPD3 also fitted.

This sump plate protects the underside of the engine & allows the car to slide over objects, forward & backwards due to the rear lip. With a natural finish the plate is made from 6mm 5083 grade aluminium & has been water jet cut to a precise finish. The plate bolts directly into existing holes & bulkheads already in the chassis, using the standard Land Rover fixings.

This engine sump guard/skid plate fit, finish, quality, and strength are better than I expected.

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?

Installed on a 2013 Land Rover LR4 (Discovery 4 outside of the USA). Installed along with the Transmission Plate Rimmer Bros part number RD1283BPD3. This engine sump plate fits perfectly with the transmission plate. Both parts are listed as for the Discovery 3 but they fit the Discovery 4 or LR4 perfectly.
