Triumph TR6 Battery and Cables
The electrical system and circuit of the TR6 was always negative earth. The battery terminals, when the battery is fitted in the car should be nearer the engine than the bulkhead, some earlier model TRs were opposite to this. The battery earth (negative) terminal is always on the left hand side with its cable connected by one tag to the bulkhead and one tag to a gearbox attachment bolt. These connections provide both body and powerplant battery earth connections from one cable.
