These trailing arms are in fact the later design used on TR5, TR250 and TR6.
They differ in one aspect from original TR4A items in that a different bump
stop is designed to be fitted to the trailing arm, replacing the original fitted
to the wheel arch.  Therefore, TR4A owners should purchase the later
TR5, TR250 bump stop at the same time as their new trailing arm.

Note for TR4A, IRS Axle

The rear end of the IRS TR4A was notoriously weak. Our standard spring (Part No 216275) is in fact the TR6 spring which is slightly uprated at 358lbs over the TR4A standard spring at 280lbs. We recommend this as the minimum rate spring to use on TR4A models to avoid a sagging rear end.

We recommend that all coil springs be fitted in pairs.

For my Tr6 ( late 1974) the spacers are perfect in combination with new Poly insulators.
