From GD2D1 - 1149 onwards the oil gauge take off was from the oil pump base. For earlier cars plug BHH1349 should be fitted to the pump base and union 143943 transferred to the remote oil filter BHA5286 (where it may be necessary to tap a 1/8 in BSP hole in the housing on the side fed by the oil cooler pipe).

Up to GD2D1 - 1148 the oil gauge take off was from the remoteoil filter head. For later cars plug BHH1349 should be fitted to the remote oil filter head (if a tapped hole in the filter head is present) and union 143943 transferred to the oil pump cover on the engine.

A conventional oil change is always associated with spills and dirty hands.
Therefore, this system has been developed with which you can perform an oil change completely safe and clean.
The Stahlbus oil drain valve will easily replace the existing drain screw.
When changing the oil, you unscrew the cap and put on the hose connector via quick release.
Once this is locked, the valve opens and the oil can be drained into an appropriate container.
When disconnecting the hose connector, the valve closes automatically and you only have to turn on the cap.
