Plug - Oil Gauge Pipe Tapping in Filter Head - BHH1349
From GD2D1 - 1149 onwards the oil gauge take off was from the oil pump base. For earlier cars plug BHH1349 should be fitted to the pump base and union 143943 transferred to the remote oil filter BHA5286 (where it may be necessary to tap a 1/8 in BSP hole in the housing on the side fed by the oil cooler pipe).

Up to GD2D1 - 1148 the oil gauge take off was from the remote oil filter head. For later cars plug BHH1349 should be fitted to the remote oil filter head (if a tapped hole in the filter head is present) and union 143943 transferred to the oil pump cover on the engine.
