For cleaning and refreshing the appearance of vinyl soft-tops. The Vinyl Soft Top Cleaner also helps to preserve the condition and prolong the life of the vinyl convertible roof and the value of the car.
Effectively removes everyday build up of dirt helping to prevent harmful penetration that can cause damage to the vinyl soft top and provides a clean surface for application of Renovo Vinyl Ultra Proofer RX1528.

Application Instructions:

Please note: It is advisable to test on an inconspicuous area first, to ensure vinyl is colourfast dyed. Never use pressure washers on Soft Tops.
This product is not suitable for use on fabric soft-tops.

Normal Cleaning
Dry brush the soft-top to remove any residual dirt.
Shake bottle well prior to removing top.
Pour into suitable container.
Apply with a clean 2" paint brush using even brush strokes.
Start at the centre of the cover working out towards the edge.
Leave for 10-20 minutes to ensure the cleaner can work on difficult grime and stains.
Commence scrubbing using warm water and a sponge, cloth or bristle brush until the cleaner begins to lather and dirt is being removed easily.
Finish by rinsing off with water. Repeat the whole process if necessary.

For heavily-soiled surfaces leave the solution to dry for approximately 30 to 40 minutes- the optimum time for active ingredients to work. Heavily-soiled surfaces should be scrubbed with a bristle brush. Finish by rinsing off with water. Repeat the whole process if necessary.
Finally leave to dry before applying Renovo’s Vinyl Ultra Proofer. This marvelous formulation not only protects and conditions against stains and oxidation it also contains a UV inhibitor.

Bird Droppings / Difficult Stains
Dab or pour the Cleaner directly onto the spot of dirt or stain. (Massage into the affected area) Clean off after 30 mins. Repeat process if necessary.

Light Soiling / Quick Cleaning.
For less soiled tops cleaning can commence immediately. Pour directly onto on to a cloth or sponge and massage into the affected area. Rinse off with water.
As with all cleaning products, it is best to avoid prolonged contact with skin. It is advised to use rubber gloves for protection.

We advise that you now protect your convertible top from the elements by applying a protective coating of Vinyl Ultra Proofer.

HOW TO CLEAN A CONVERTIBLE TOP:
Please note: It is advisable to test on an inconspicuous area first, to ensure fabric is colourfast dyed. Never use pressure washers on Soft Tops.

Do not take car out in rain/wet weather until the Ultra Proofer has completely dried.
The soft-top is now water and stain repellent, will resist the growth of mould/mildew and is protected from harmful Ultra Violet rays.
To ensure best possible weatherproof protection we advise that Ultra Proofer is applied every six months.

Prolongs the life of the vinyl soft top, and therefore the value of the car, by preventing the accumulation of grime and keeping the original showroom finish.

Application Instructions:

Please note: This product is not suitable for use on fabric soft-tops.
Vinyl Ultra Proofer is best applied to your convertible top out of direct sunlight to ensure that it doesn't dry too quickly.
Shake bottle thoroughly.
Pour Vinyl Ultra Proofer into a suitable container/bowl.
Start application in the centre of the soft-top and work out towards the edges with a clean 5cm/2inch paintbrush using even strokes across the whole soft-top. If preferred the Proofer can simply be rubbed into the soft-top using a sponge. Wipe excess drips from paintwork, trims and glass with a damp cloth.
Allow the top to dry completely before exposing it to wet weather.
Drying time will vary according to atmospheric temperature but it can be as little as half an hour to a few hours.
Wash out brush/sponge in warm soapy water.

Suitable for all plastic windows, perspex screens, lights etc, you will be surprised how good it works. Great for plastic garden furniture and crash helmet visors too. We are being asked more and more by owners of light aircraft, boats and yachts whether the plastic cleaner can be used on their canopies and portholes and the answer is yes, in fact we are suppliers to a number of airports and chandlers.

Why does my screen, canopy or porthole cloud up?
For convertible cars every time the soft-top is folded microscopic scratches are formed on the windows plastic (perspex) rear screen which causes the window to look cloudy and difficult to see through.
For light aircraft the high speed of dust, rain and hail hitting the canopy is enough to ensure is isn't long before scratches hinder vision - particularly in strong sunlight.
For boat windows plastic and yacht portholes, salt water erosion is the biggest culprit.

Application Instructions:

Please note: Renovo Plastic Window Cleaner can be used to clean and condition perspex as well as flexible plastic but is not suitable for use on glass.

Prior to application of Renovo Plastic Window Polish ensure that the window is clean and free from dust particles by washing with a soft cloth and warm water.
It is not advisable to use cleaning detergents on plastic windows.
Shake the bottle thoroughly.
Use a soft cotton duster/cloth and apply the polish with a little pressure using circular movements to rub well in, apply more pressure on areas which are more scratched.
It is best to add small quantities of polish frequently rather than a large amount all at once until the whole window has been covered.
Allow the polish to dry and then use a clean soft cotton duster/cloth to remove/polish off the coating of polish.
The interior and exterior of the window should be polished in the above manner to achieve best possible results.

Renovo Plastic Window Polish will not remove clarity defects that are within the plastic but it will remove external/surface scratching and yellowing.
