Product Description

Triumph GT6 Sports Exhaust Systems - Twin Rear Silencer Full Twin Sports System
Stainless Steel
These systems use twin rear silencers which couple directly to a 'Y' pipe, connector pipe and either a tubular exhaust manifold or standard downpipe, depending on which system you decide fit.
Note: When fitting Sports exhaust, Tubular extractor manifold, and/or K & N air filters, the carburettors may require adjustment.
Please see 'Needles' in Carburettor sections.

Well made system. Expect fitment issues and import duties into the United States

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?

On initial test installation of the headers to a 69 GT6+ MK2 I had direct contact of the header to the oil pan ahead of the collector. This required bending the whole system at flange. I did this with the system installed and a porta-power between pan rail and system. The headers also required removing the square at the exposed end of the starter shaft in order to clear the near down pipe. Some modifications to heater transfer pipe and a convoluted hose connection at the water valve were also needed. The rest of the system fit perfectly. To hang the system I used Jaguar XKE straight drop exhaust hangers mounted to the inner face of the rear body through bolted into the boot area. They mated to the muffler rear hanger tabs perfectly. I also used the right angle XKE hangers mounted mid way along the prop shaft tunnel with a cross bar welded to the long tube muffler. All in all I was happy after modifications to headers, starter and plumbing.
