I would say this product is mandatory to all Rover 75/ZT owners. My front spring broke while parked on my driveway and pressed hard against the tyre. It would have punctured the tyre had I been travelling and caused major damage or an accident, so I'm grateful it happed at home. These appear to be a genuine MG Rover part, so they must have known of this issue at the time. They are easy to install without removing the strut and I would say are essential in preventing a major incident.
