Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
MG ZT-T. Rapid delivery (next day) to my garage, thanks. It seems that my car has a later design of front strut which has a built in lip to hold the bottom of the spring and different screw size. My garage was able to enlarge the screw holes & fit them as they provide an extra 1/2 inch of shielding.

Fitted a pair of these 10 years ago when first changed front struts. Last month (before MOT) I noticed the front spring was broken. On releasing the spring protector when BONG - the broken pinged off and from its final position it would have surely punctured the tyre. If you have not fitted a pair of these (only require 2 bolts)then please do before a broken spring punctures your tyre - perhaps at speed! Only a few quid will save your (and loved ones) life.
