In 1999, Mazda changed the design resulting in a L shaped end link attachment bracket for the anti-roll bar. Tests and experience have shown it is not strong enough to handle the demands of aftermarket anti-roll bars. These lower control arm reinforcement flanges will convert the L to a U bracket. They are “weld on” brackets and need to be installed with the addition of the Racing Beat anti-roll bar / sway bar end link sets for the ultimate package.
