In 1982 we started selling classic Triumph parts and by the mid '80s we were supplying stainless steel exhaust systems for Land Rovers and other 4x4 vehicles. In the summer of 2000, to coincide with the celebration of 30 years of Range Rover production, Rimmer Bros launched a parts catalogue for the Range Rover Classic. This was a natural move, as the vast majority of Range Rovers built in the first 30 years of its production were powered by the Rover V8 engine - a subject in which we specialise.
In 2021, we revisited our Range Rover Classic vehicle parts and accessories catalogue, introducing a completely revamped and updated version to replace the old catalogue that had served us and our passionate customers so well for 21 years. This return to the beginning of the Land Rover vehicle parts side of our business further enhanced our parts offering and our unwavering support for Range Rover Classic enthusiasts, also ensuring the lasting legacy of these British four-wheel-drive icons.
Please note that while most of the listed accessories are universal, there may be specific parts for certain countries that differ from those listed. If you're unsure, please contact us with your full Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
The Range Rover Classic, an iconic vehicle that was conceptualised in the mid-sixties, emerged as a pioneering concept that blended the rugged off-road capabilities of a Land Rover with the comfort and luxury of a family saloon, thus catering to the growing ‘leisure industry'.
Initially introduced in 1970, it was powered by a potent V8 engine, featured a coil-spring suspension and exhibited a distinctive design. Over its remarkable 26-year production run, the Range Rover Classic underwent a series of refinements, embracing electronic fuel injection, diesel engine options, and an extended wheelbase model. Its enduring legacy paved the way for a family of Range Rover models, expanding its influence globally and transforming it into a prestigious automotive marque that endures today.
