Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? This tank was bought for a 1978 rubber bumper MG B GT whose original tank was full of rust. The garage that fitted it used the vent pipe connector for a vent as the cap is non vented type. The tank fitted to the car with no problem but there was a tow bar (yes really!) that originally fitted around the tank but wouldn't fit back on after the fitment of this tank.

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? Gasket is now fitted. The holes for the screws to pass through were a little tight. I had to be very careful so as not to tear the cork gasket.
