Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? I bought this for my ‘70 MGB. The fit worked well. I bought the longer mounting hardware (the kind with the threaded stud so to mount my heater return pipe) to use with the cover. It’s is a thick casting and seems to be well made, the vented cap is nice but if you have the charcoal canister in place; you may want to add new plumbing for that. The overall finish in my option is about a 7.5-8 out of 10. It could have been a bit better finished closer to the mounting holes and fins. The one thing about this valve cover is that the surface of the gasket area is completely flat, it does not have a ridge to hold the gasket. This means that you will have to use something like RTV(red) to hold the gasket to the valve cover first and let it set before installing it on the head(hence the 4 star).
