Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? There is a strange rippled coating on the back of these brake pads. I was unsure what this was supposed to do but I thought it may be soft and result in a spongy pedal so I scraped it off. Otherwise they fit well and stop the car no problem. Fitted to 1967 Triumph TR250
