Seat Identification
There are five distinctly different seat styles fitted to the Triumph TR6:
1969 UK models to CP50000 non-reclining seats (fine grain vinyl trim) without head rests.
1969 USA models to CC50000 non-reclining seats (fine grain vinyl trim) with tipping, integral type headrest.
1970 - 72 UK models from CP50001 to CP77716 reclining seats (fine grain vinyl trim) without head rests.
1970 - 72 USA models from CC50001 to CC85737 reclining seats (fine grain vinyl trim) with fixed, integral headrests.
1973 - 76 UK &?USA models from CR1/CF1 onwards reclining seats (coarse grain vinyl trim) with (or with provision for) stalk-type, adjustable head rests.
All TR6 seats can be interchanged between model years and series as they all fit to the same spaced seat runners and floor panels.
Since new original style seats are not available (but see panel below for replacement Suffolk type seats), we offer a combination of seat covers, seat foams, straps and diaphragms to help restore your existing seats. Our seat covers (and foams) are supplied in vehicle sets to avoid any poor colour match with faded and worn covers.
Before ordering, please check that the seats fitted to your vehicle match the identification criteria as well as the year/chassis no. - it is possible that the seats may have been changed by a previous owner.
As an attractive alternative to the vinyl material we also offer leather faced seat covers - why not combine these with our leather trim kits and luxury wool carpet sets?
Seat covers, interior trim kits and carpets are also available in special colours (e.g. biscuit, mid blue) to pre-paid order.
The fixed head rest design requires a different tonneau cover to accommodate the headrests. The seats have two handles to the outside; a chrome one adjusting the rake of the backrest, and the other to allow the seat to pivot forward about its front end, allowing access to the rear seat area.
Light tan was dropped from production after the first five hundred sets and replaced by new tan. As seats may have been swapped around over the years there may be some hazards in matching wiring looms to seat belt sensors, even though the seats may outwardly appear matched. Triumph fitted sensors to RH seats from CC75000, but not to the drivers (i.e. LH) seat.

Interior Trim Information
If you modify it - then you own it!
All our re-manufactured interior trim is produced to the highest standard. If you genuinely believe that any of our trim (seat covers/carpets etc) does not/will not fit then we will either exchange it, or offer a full refund (in line with our normal procedure). However, if any item of trim has been modified in any way whatsoever (ie cut, trimmed, unstitched, etc) by the purchaser in an attempt to rectify a problem, then any claims for faulty goods will be Null & Void.
