MGF and MG TF 304mm Big Brake Kit - Front - RP1634-4POT
The kit includes a pair of red MG embossed AP Racing 4 piston calipers, pads, pins, clips and 304mm discs. It can be used to either, replace the 4 piston factory AP racing system as fitted to MGF Trophy & MG TF 160, or to upgrade the standard sliding type brakes.
If fitting these calipers as a brake upgrade from conventional sliding calipers, you will need to check the clearance to the back of the wheel carefully before allowing the wheel to rotate under driving conditions. As a rule of thumb, all Trophy specification alloy wheels have sufficient clearance as do all MG TF 135 and LE500 alloy wheels. Minimum wheel size = 16"
If upgrading from standard sliding calipers, you will need to return old unit 4 pot calipers for surcharge credit, sliding calipers will not be accepted.
If fitting to MGF, you will also require RP1034 Goodridge brake hose kit.
