Use this kit to transform your chrome bumper away from those oversized rubber overriders to a full stainless steel solution which also includes polished stainless steel overriders too. Converts vehicle appearance to UK specification.
Mirror polished stainless steel - almost indistinguishable from chrome but with the advantage that they will never rust!
Offering superb value when compared to the standard chrome bumpers, this bumper kit includes front & rear bumpers with overriders (& rubbers where required) and basic assembly hardware. Supplied to the market for over 20 years and manufactured from high grade stainless steel, you can be assured of quality and finish!
Although not required on stainless steel, the rear surfaces are also acid etch primed and painted, just as they were when the car was new and in keeping with the vehicle’s original appearance.
So why use stainless steel over chrome plating?
We get this question a lot and these are numerous advantages. This bumper kit is manufactured entirely from 304 grade stainless steel with 20% being pure chrome! Not only does this produce an incredible finish but also allows for subsequent repairs & repolishing in the event of an accidental scratch or dent. Stainless steel is also far kinder to the environment versus the chrome plating process and is likely to last the lifetime of the vehicle.
Made on low-volume press tools and traditionally hand finished prior to extensive polishing, this ensures any matching joints are aligned as a car set. Minor adjustments may be required when installing to allow for manufacturing and vehicle variances (loosely assemble and trial fit prior to final tightening).
