Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
1971 TR6. My boot lid was abused by the previous owner. Plus it had holes in it from mounting a luggage rack. There is no way to trust a used lid without stripping to bare metal. I needed a new lid or some luck. Luck is hard to come by, so having a new lid on a car that is 50 years old is just the best solution and worth every penny. Why spend hours fixing an old lid? How many hours need to be spent before your time is offset by the expense of new parts? I am so happy that this new part is available. No body work needed...prep for paint and spray.
