Please note the steering rack is marked as “LHD”, this is correct. It's also used on another application but is fitted the other way round in this conversion.

On Long Column Vehicles an Upper Steering Column conversion is required part number (121154R) it has a 19mm ¾” spline.

For adjustable column models (22mm) spline, a replacement steering wheel and boss will be required.

The indicator relocation kit (667247) may be required.

Note: - You may also need to change the cooling fan to a 4-blade version (202025) or the Revotec conversion kit (RF4226).

This bracket kit provides all the parts necessary to support a TR3A upper column of the split type, where it is bolted to the bulkhead. This kit is supplied to make life easier when installing the steering rack conversion(RHD) into TR2-3 (and possibly some TR3A) cars where the conversion is replacing a solid full length column.

This bracket is not present on TR2-3 where a full length solid column is fitted. It is necessary to provide support at the lower end of the upper column.

The biggest and most significant improvement to the steering of the TR2, TR3, TR3A models is the fitment of a steering rack.
This bolt-on kit gives instant improvement with lighter steering for easier parking and driving control.
Due to clearance, the kits should be only be used with the 4 blade fan or Kenlowe Cooling Fan Kit.
