Suitable for race engines where space is a premium.
This compact alternator has been designed by us to the exact pattern and size of a traditional Lucas ACR type alternator. With an easily adjustable adaptor plate, the alternator can be mounted on either side of an engine.

Built in the UK to withstand vibration and engine harmonics, this unit will deliver maximum performance with minimum efficiency.

Negative earth, 50 Amp, 15mm shaft diameter, 12 Volt, 3 kg.

Suitable for Ford BDA, Pinto, X - Flow including A series engines such as A + B series BMC and BL types and Rover V8.

Fitted with RAC902 Plug connector. Early types had Green / Yellow leads, later types had Blue / Black leads. See RAC068R for large pulley version.

It works properly

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
When i received the part the small fan was touching the housing of the alternator. So i had to fix that myself. Then instaled the alternator and now it works perfectly for my MGB V8.
