MGB Exhaust Systems - Standard Mild Steel One Piece Systems - 4 Cylinder
A one piece system is what your MGB was originally fitted with on the production line at Abingdon. The great advantage is clear: there are no joints to seal or have to reseal later, other than the joint to the manifold. The disadvantages are also self evident: a one piece system is a very unwieldy lump of metal to ship to a customer (or to pick up from our shop) and makes for an expensive replacement if only one part of the system on the car needs replacing (in which case, many customers opt to cut off the damaged part of the one piece system on the car and fit a component from the five or three piece systems available).
