This well-proven upgrade enhances the MGB’s front suspension, elevating handling, road holding, and ride comfort by integrating the spring and damper into a single cohesive unit.

With this system, the original lever arm dampers are replaced by a robust top wishbone assembly, which can be removed if a return to the standard setup is desired.

Once installed, the improved suspension delivers a range of benefits, including a more controlled ride, lighter steering, enhanced cornering response, and adjustable ride height for a tailored driving experience.

The design features spring retention via collars on the dampers, ensuring that both components work in unison to provide improved ride quality and stability.

Additionally, the lower collar on the damper is screw-adjustable, allowing for precise ride height modifications.

All key components are finished with a corrosion-resistant coating, and the kit includes everything needed for installation:
  • New lower spring pans.
  • Upper wishbones with mounting blocks.
  • Neoprene upper wishbone and damper mounting bushes.
  • Shock absorber unit and spring.
  • Mounting hardware.
  • Comprehensive fitting instructions.
Designed for ease of installation, this upgrade can typically be completed in approximately 4-5 hours.

After an exhaustive search and a bit of hesitancy, i ordered these shocks and to let you know that it is what it appears to be. They are well done pieces. The return shipping i cannot speak about yet. The cost may prohibit the return of the old units as its at the buyers expense.
