Fan motor MGB

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
I ordered the fan motor for my 1977 MGB roadster because mine is "squealing" whenever it kicks in... Unfortunately I am unable to get the fan to part company with the old motor as it's still in situ. So the new motor awaits a solution to that problem, until I figure out how to get the complete fan/motor assembly out from behind the bulkhead!!....
