Only required on MGF’s from VIN XD511058 on and MG TF’s prior to VIN 5D639631 (2005 year) where not currently fitted. Includes instructions (suitable for MGF), two relays and switch.   At an unspecified VIN on the TF the yellow relay was changed to the smaller black relay so both are included in the kit (please discard which ever relay is not required).

MGF and MG TF Hardtop and Hood Electrics - Heated Rear Window
If your car is pre VIN 5D639631 (2005 year)  and has not been fitted with a hardtop before (or if you wish to fit a hood with a heated glass rear window), you will also need to fit a switch and a relay in order to be able to operate the heated rear window. This is not a difficult task with the correct items to hand - you will need a relay and heated rear window switch (conveniently available together as an installation kit, which also includes illustrated instructions for the MG F only). The wiring, connector plugs and relay socket are already fitted, so no wiring conversion will be required.

VIN 5D639631 (2005 year) on MG TF's already have the switch and relay fitted in order to operate the heated glass rear window in the hood.
