Brake Master Cylinder is re-built. Suitable for all vehicles 1982 on (MK2). Not a direct fit to vehicles with lockheed units (MK1's). Will require re-piping and there is no facility for the brake pressure switch.

Our brake pipe sets are assembled with pride for your specific vehicle since 1976. Each pipe is cut to the correct length, fitted with solid brass unions and marked clearly to indicate the correct location on the vehicle. They are virtually corrosion proof.

We use only top quality Cupro Nickel tubing manufactured in Great Britain specifically for braking systems which is Eddy current tested to EN1971, cleanliness to EN12449/12451 which exceeds BLS.30.JC.101. and conforms importantly to DIN74234.
The materials have been tested beyond 10,000psi, double the SAE pressure standard.

Please shape using a brake pipe bending tool (RX2257 , RX2446 ) make sure you do not to crimp or trap the pipe when fitting.

Unlike standard, glycol based, clutch/brake fluid, Automec DOT 5 - silicone fluid is non - hygroscopic which means it does not absorb moisture. This will help prevent corrosion in the system and, under heavy braking conditions, it tends not to boil. Also, it won't harm paintwork if spilt.

NOTE; It is completely safe to mix Automec DOT 5 silicone clutch/brake fluid with standard, Glycol based, clutch/brake fluid. However, in order to obtain the maximum performance benefits, it is best to drain the brake system and refill with Automec Dot 5 silicone fluid.
A 1 litre bottle is usually sufficient to replace the fluid in most vehicles. Use the 500ml bottles for topping up.
