Rubber seat straps that are now over thirty years old will probably have perished and should be renewed with any seat refurbishment-the new straps can be expected to bear a high degree of tension which new, firmer foams and seat covers will restore.

Our kit includes the correct size length of strap, but these Pirelli straps now include single prong metal hooks at each end- the original twin-hooks are no longer available. These hooks instead need to be inserted into the upper of each of the pair of holes, that should be present in a number of positions along the seat frame.

Please note that this kit only cover one side and two will need to be purchased to cover both seats.

Triumph Spitfire RH seat base foam comes in three separate pieces. There is a CNC cut top roll, a specifically shaped lower piece which is cut to fit into the wire basket and a pre formed fibre board panel which sits in the bottom of the basket to stop the foam from falling into the floor pan.
