If the plastic body stud needs replacing and since it is no longer available, we recommend replacing both the male & female poppers on the material with metal versions, along with a metal body stud.
If the male part on the vehicle is already metal, we recommend using the metal female popper 713501(for black) or 554517 (for silver).

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
These studs worked well for my spitfire hood once I realised that the"nose" of my riveter was not able to get right into the stud. The problem was sorted by using a tiny m3 nut as a spacer and putting it on the shaft of the rivet before putting the rivet into the riveter.
