Ready to install in vehicle - saving time and expensive fitting charges! Supplied with reconditioned frame which is pre-fitted with a new (German) mohair hood cover with beige headlining (Mk1 has a rear window plus side quarter windows, Mk2 has a single rear window). The fitting is professionally carried out on a body tub to ensure a proper fit. The frame is sandblasted, powder coated and fully reconditioned including new side catches, rear plunger, Velcro, webbing, weather seals and seal retainers. Some fittings (handles/side trim covers etc) may require transferring over from the existing frame. Supplied with two special hood frame locating bolts for easier installation. Note that the rear bar may require adjustment to suit the vehicle and that the hood should be raised and lowered in accordance with the instructions stated on the stowage compartment labels RS1516 & sun visor label RS1439. Supplied on a strict exchange basis. The old frame must be complete, straight, undamaged and be of recondition-able quality. We reserve the right to retain all or part of the surcharge if these conditions are not met.
