Product Description

Triumph Herald Front Side/Flasher Lamps - Twin Bulb Lamp and Glass Lenses 948, Late 1200, 12/50 and 13/60
948, Late 1200, 12/50, & 13/60.
Note:
Due to the many variations of side/flasher lamps which were fitted to the Triumph Herald, and problems of availability, we have listed just 2 types (which are not interchangeable).

The very early models were produced with a small lamp fitted with plastic lenses and used a double filament bulb (GLB380).

Later models were supplied with a slightly larger lamp, with glass lenses, 2 bulbs and an amber 'cover' over the flasher bulb. One variation of this type of lamp was the face of the lens, some were 'Flat', and some were 'Peaked', the two versions of this later lamp are interchangeable when fitted as lamp assemblies. The lamps that we supply are fitted with the 'Peaked' type lenses.

Note: Trying to determine by chassis number the type of lamp fitted can be slightly frustrating, for it was not an uncommon sight to see consecutive Heralds on the assembly line fitted with different side/flasher lamps, as it all depended on which type of bonnet had been fitted!
