Stag Owners Club Tooling Fund Limited, or SOCTFL was established by the Stag Owners Club in the early ’90s for the purpose of encouraging re manufacture of high quality body panels and other parts for the Triumph Stag that are no longer available from original sources.

SOCTFL is able to make limited grants and loans to manufacturers to subsidise tooling and production, and has established a distribution network in co-operation with the specialist suppliers.

By this means they have been able to encourage manufacture and distribution in low volumes in order to offer these high quality parts at affordable prices. The basis under which this is achieved is agreed between SOCTFL and the National Committee of the Stag Owners Club.

This was exactly the part required to repair the rear drive assembly on my wife's Triumph Stag. Other parts were purchased at the same time to recondition the tail shaft, diff and rear drive shafts.
