Triumph Stag A Type Overdrive Rear Case - Speedo Drive and Cable
The 'A' type rear case was designed to fit directly to the main case without a sealing gasket, making it prone to oil leaks. We recommend you use "WellSeal" (sparingly) on the metal faces to create a seal, whilst being careful not to let it enter the overdrive unit.
DIY Overdrive Rebuilds
Overdrive units really do require specialist knowledge to dismantle and rebuild, and are normally beyond the capabilities of the DIY enthusiast. We therefore, strongly recommend the fitting of a reconditioned overdrive unit.
