Although this knob is visually identical to the original, it is made without a hole for the spring loaded pin on the cable assembly. A hole may be drilled to facilitate this if required, although practically, it is easier to glue/bond the knob to the cable.

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
Just the switch for a Dolomite 1850. Worked fine to fit and set up. Took about 4 hours but all OK and the delivery was fast as usual.
