For the Multi Layered Steel (MLS) gasket to seal correctly it is important that the cylinder liner heights are at least 4 thou (0.1mm) above the block AND are all even. A shim kit LCJ000050SHIM (containing 4 x 0.1mm shims) is available if the liners have sunk below the recommended heights.

Made from chocolate. Only torqued time 10nm before they stripped. Really disappointed.
