2017 XF 35t, 3.0 petrol. Infamous plastic coolant pipes and leaking oil filter cap o-ring killed the original generator and the egregious dealer cost on a common consumable part caused me to try a reman unit from a reputable company. Generally reman units are tested prior to packaging and sale so no bothers. Well my luck wasn't having it and I get weak battery errors weird messages and failures of various systems on intermittent times. I finally found Rimmer Bros who had this oem replacement for slight premium over the reman unit. No Brainer from now on. Shipping across the pond was a question that has been answered and I will not hesitate to order from Rimmer for all my maintenance needs. Many Thanks for great service that is not as common as it once was.
