Avon Traction Mileage 600-16C 97/94L - AV60016TM
The original equipment Land Rover Series tyre, fitted from mid-1949. This is the tyre for your Series Land Rover. The best combination of on and off-road grip and a tread pattern that looks perfect on Series I to III. If you've only ever driven on chunky radials, prepare yourself for lighter steering and a lock-to-lock range that will amaze you. Traditionally, it's 600-16 for SWB and 700-16 for LWB. But the taller tyre is still popular on shorter-wheelbase Land Rovers because it ups the gearing a little, making for a more relaxed drive.
