Unlike traditional mechanical diaphragm fuel pumps, HARDI electronic fuel pumps use their own propulsion system, either an electric motor or a solenoid coil ensuring smooth operation independent of the engine.
Each HARDI pump features an advanced control system that automatically adjusts pumping capacity to match engine fuel demand. At high consumption, the pump works faster; at low consumption, it slows down or stops entirely, saving significant energy.
These fuel pumps are designed with dual polarity, allowing installation regardless of your vehicle’s positive or negative earth system:
- Negative earth vehicles: Connect the positive terminal to the ignition-fed supply and the negative terminal to the chassis.
- Positive earth vehicles: Connect the positive terminal to the chassis and the negative terminal to the ignition-fed supply.
