An MX 5 enthusiast found a solution online built for Corvettes and made it work in his Mazda.
The manufacturer got wind of the MX 5’s need and retooled the part to fit - and here we have the final product.
This is a NO TOOLS installation, simply slip the top tongue under your plastic console and use your floor mat to anchor the bottom tongue.
