IL Motorsport brings us another performance piece that is well-engineered specifically to give your MX 5 more power.
The scoop brings cool air in from in front of the radiator, then charges through the enclosed box, increasing the speed of the air. The kit then has a super-smooth silicone hose for the passage from the MAF into the engine. Colder air is denser and keeping the passages smooth means more power!
The kit is designed to use a stock-size square filter, so you can install the K&N or JR reusable filter you already have.
Note:
This kit when installed removes the bonnet prop, please check out our bonnet strut kits as a replacement.
