As well as improving the aerodynamics and looks of the front of your MX 5 these Air Splitters are designed to help protect your front bumper and air dam. Modern bumpers are made from flexible urethane to allow flexing when bumped -- but the painted surfaces are still vulnerable to scratches and scrapes. Air Splitters help protect your bumper by extending the protection around the front perimeter. The original Splitter is made from 1/8" thick, high-impact ABS plastic and the extreme version in 1/4". The top surface has a black texture finish, while the underside has a smooth finish that slides easily over steep approach angles. Fits Mazdaspeed Mk2.5 MX 5 from 2004-2005 with MazdaSpeed lip.
