Manufactured in England using the finest German Mohair as original. Mohair is considered to be the best material to manufacture soft tops from due to its resilient properties. Mohair hoods are incredibly water resistant and remain flexible for many years which helps avoid any unsightly creases forming when folded away. Mohair also has exceptional colour dye retention and resists the bleaching effects of direct sunlight. This hood features a black headlining as a popular alternative to the original beige headlining with a single rear window as standard on a Mk2 Stag.
Stag Hood Covers - Which cover fits which model?
The only difference between Mk1 & Mk2 hood covers is that Mk1's were fitted with rear quarter windows, and Mk2's weren't. Both models have a zip-out rear window. So unless you want to retain originality, you can fit either hood cover to either model, the choice is yours. Except for the very early Mk1's, all Stags were equipped with Mohair hood covers (with inner lining), which are now available in a range of colours to suit your taste.
