Speaker Oval 5" x 7" 3 Way DVC (single) R-57N - 230545 - RetroSound
These speakers have been designed and manufactured from the ground up to meet the demands of modern high performance amplifiers, playing digital music sources, with compact dimensions and mountings to offer a wide variety of configurations for easy installation, making them ideal for many classic cars where speakers were not originally catered for. Selected models feature black mesh grilles which are more in keeping with the style of interior trim used on many classic cars. Others are supplied without grilles for fitting to original speaker positions.
The 'N Series' models use the latest compact neodymium magnet structures which are 5 time more powerful than standard magnets, this compact size gives a substantial reduction in mounting depth with excellent power handling characteristics.
Dual Voice Coils (DVC) Speakers
An innovation from RetroSound. This system allows for 2 stereo channels (left & right) to be connected to the same single speaker. This means that originality can be maintained on cars where a single speaker was fitted in the centre of the dash or rear shelf, providing full stereo sound from a single speaker. These speakers are supplied individually without mesh grilles, to fit existing mountings, and are available in 6.5' & 6' X 9' configurations.
