EU Import Changes: What It Means for Your Orders

From 1st July 2026, new EU customs rules will mean that parcels imported into the EU will be subject to additional charges.

Here’s the good news. When you shop through our EU store, your order is fulfilled within the EU, which means no import charges apply!

So what’s changing and what does it mean for you?

  • From 1st July 2026, the EU is removing its duty-free exemption on parcels valued at €150 or less shipped from outside the EU
  • A flat-rate customs duty of €3 per product type will now apply to those parcels
  • VAT continues to apply as normal on all imports

Ordering with Moss Rimmer — your options

We want to make sure you can continue ordering with confidence and full visibility on pricing. You now have two options:

Option 1: Shop via our EU store (selected ranges)

Our EU website and locations offer our range of parts and accessories for selected marques, and orders are fulfilled within the EU, meaning no import charges apply. The following marques are covered:

  • MG
  • Triumph
  • Mini
  • Austin Healey
  • Morris Minor
  • Mazda MX-5

Shop from our EU store

We are continuing to expand this service and are working to bring more of our range into the EU in the future.

Option 2: Ordering from the UK (All-Inclusive Service)

You can continue to order from our UK operation using our All-Inclusive delivery service. Although duties will apply, the All-Inclusive Service means that there are no surprises.

  • All duties, VAT, and import charges are calculated upfront
  • The full cost is shown clearly at checkout
  • There are no additional payments required on delivery

As these charges are now applied more broadly, they are included within a single delivery cost — calculated upfront at checkout, so you always see the full price before you place your order.
